April 12, 2021

Marmaduke Students, Parents, and Employees:

On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, Governor Asa Hutchinson lifted the statewide mask mandate.  Tonight, April, 12, 2021, the Marmaduke School District Board of Directors has approved to follow the directive from the Governor and masks will no longer be required for our students and staff.

The wearing of a face covering is now, as of April, 12, 2021, optional.  We ask that everyone respect the decisions of others for the choice that they make in regards to wearing masks.

Masks will still be provided to staff and students requesting them.  The Marmaduke School District will continue to make the safety and well-being of our staff and students a priority.  Social distancing, temperature checks, sterilization and deep cleaning will continue.  Large gatherings will still be avoided.

Sincerely,

Keith Richey, Superintendent

Marmaduke school District
